This year, we are offering two types of learning session....our usual full length workshops & in addition, our new Skill Sessions which are 30 minute micro-learning sessions.

Workshops

These are longer learning sessions (2-3hours) and are individually priced depending on tutor and materials. These MUST be booked in advance, and we recommend booking early as they do sell out.

Skill Sessions

These sessions below are all £5 but you cannot book them in advance. Just turn up at the start time and pay on arrival - first come, first served! If you're viewing on a mobile phone, you'll need to click the photos to read the information about the session

SOLAR DYEING - Sat 10.30 & Sun 15.00

Discover solar dyeing with Caroline Bawn - a slow, sustainable technique using sunlight to extract colour from plants and dyes. This mini workshop explores how heat and time create soft, layered hues, with natural variations and beautifully subtle, unpredictable results on yarn.

FELTED PEBBLE PIN CUSHION - Sat 15.30

Join Paula who will talk you through creating a pebble pin cushion before showing you how to finish your own pebble pin cushion in local Devon fibre. From creating naturalistic pebbles to going wild with rainbow colours, the only limit is your imagination. This quick fire session will whiz through the steps of making a pebble, with some base pebbles available for you to needle felt finish in session and take home to adorn your work table, whether for sewing pins or blocking pins
